Did you know that you save a life every time you give blood? In fact, according to the American Red Cross, a donation can save up to three lives.
If you don’t let this roll in your sleeves, you should need blood every two seconds in America due to an accident, illness or an operation. This means that you or someone you love could at some point in your life could benefit from a donation. But blood is often poor because it has to be donated – we cannot make it in a laboratory or pool resources from the occupation of “True Blood” (unfortunately).
