What You Need
This Midori cocktail is made with just 5 ingredients that are all easy to find in a liqueur store and supermarket.

- Midori liqueur – this Japanese liqueur is a sweet melon-flavoured liqueur which is a vivid green colour.
- Cointreau liqueur – if you don’t have Cointreau you can substitute with another brand of orange liqueur.
- Lemon juice – freshly squeezed lemon juice is best.
- Ice cubes – for shaking.
- Maraschino cherries – to serve.
Equipment Required
You don’t need any fancy equipment to make this cocktail, just:
- Cocktail shaker or Thermomix.
- 2 Martini glasses.
Step By Step Instructions

Step 1 – Fill The Cocktail Shaker With Ice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Step 2 – Add The Cocktail Ingredients
Pour the Midori, Cointreau and lemon juice over the ice.
Shake for 45 seconds or until the cocktail shaker is very cold.
Step 3 – Serve
Place a maraschino cherry into the base of 2 martini glasses.
Pour the cocktail into the glasses and serve immediately.
