Fine jewelry connected to the legendary “Man in Black,” Johnny Cash, will be among the rare items offered in an upcoming auction hosted by Karats Auctions. Cindy Cash, daughter of the iconic singer-songwriter, is auctioning personal property from her father’s storied life and career, providing fans and collectors a unique opportunity to own a piece of music history.

The Cindy Cash Collection: Personal Property from the Life & Legacy of Johnny Cash is scheduled to open for bidding on May 2 and will conclude on May 12. While the auction includes a bevy of highlights, the inclusion of jewelry offers bidders a chance to acquire truly personal adornments associated with the Cash legacy.

One piece in particular stands out among the rest: a custom-made diamond ring personally owned by Johnny Cash (pictured at top), purchased by the musician’s second wife, June Carter Cash, on June 12, 1982. The sale also includes June Carter Cash’s personal rings, brooches, and more. The presence of these pieces alongside stage-worn clothing, handwritten lyrics, musical instruments like a 1950s Martin guitar, photographs, and personal documents underscores the intimate nature of the collection.
