Food allergies – 9 triggers

5

Some foods can trigger unpleasant and health risk actions for people who consume them. Lately we have heard of peanuts and dairy products against which people are allergic. According to the research and formation of food allergies (tariff), 33 million people also have food allergies and 1 out of 13 children. The FDA has come to the conclusion that there are especially 9 foods that are responsible for 90% of these food allergies.

If the immune system reacts to a food that does not like, it is in defense against a food protein from which the system is threatened. The immune system then creates antibodies to promote a fight. Food allergies are available in 2 types. Immunoglobulin E (IGE) are the most common type. When undesirable food occurs, chemicals fill the antibodies to run a struggle. For example, histamine can be released, which can cause anaphylaxis. The other type of food allergy is referred to as non-GI-mediated. Something like heartburn or eczema can happen as a immune response.

Some signs of an allergic reaction to food could be dizzily, hives, stomach pain, vomiting, breathing difficulties, diarrhea, low blood pressure and/or weak. The most difficult reaction is anaphylaxis. The symptoms of anaphylaxis include difficulties when swallowing, lips, tongue and/or skin that are blue or swollen (like the neck), very fast breathing, sudden rash and/or fainting/unconsciousness.

The 9 most common foods against which people are allergic are the following:

1. Schaltieren – The body may be the proteins called tropomyosine, arginine inase and parvalbumin and which are contained in the crustacean and mollusk species. Examples of shellfish are shrimp, scallops, inkfish, lobster, shrimp and crayfish.

2. Fish – this actually differs from shellfish because the proteins are not the same. About 40% of people who are allergic to fish only present this effect in adulthood.

3. Wheat – This allergy is more common in children, but most are at the age of 10. The body does not like any of the many types of proteins in wheat. Gluten is the most common protein against which people are allergic against celiac disease.

4. Soy – this is from the protein in soybeans. Soy milk and soy sauce are usual culprits.

5. Sesame – In 2023, all foods must be marked with sesame. Many Asian food and sauces have a sesame.

6. Peanuts – In the United States, 6.1 million people are allergic to peanuts. It is the most common allergy for people under the age of 18. About 20% of children grow from the allergy in their teenage years.

7. Tree nuts – there are different types of tree nuts, and it is recommended if they are allergic to single -in, you shouldn’t have any of them at all. Examples of tree nuts are cashew nuts, walnuts, Macadamia nuts, pistachios, Brazil nuts, almonds, walnuts and pine nuts. Many oils and butter have them. In general, tree nutrergies are lifelong.

8. Eggs – For children, eggs are the second most common type of allergy. About 68% for children grow at the age of 10. Some people can be allergic to the yoke or just protein. More people are allergic to protein. Some people have no problems with eggs if they are baked goods or other recipes, possibly because the heat preparation has changed the allergen.

9.

Although these are the most common, there are 170 types of food against which people can be allergic. Blood tests, skin tiche test, elimination diet and the patch test are examples of the diagnosis. Food food and preparing your own food helps to know what exactly you eat. Have control over their ingredients. Unfortunately, food allergies are usually discovered according to the fact, so that a certain reaction has occurred. It could be a proactive measure to be aware of what other family members were allergic, but there is no guarantee. Some diets simply cannot have food, so the restriction is only forced.
