Gap, AGOLDE, Daze Denim & More
Whether you love them, or hate them – it looks like the crossover jeans trend isn’t ending anytime soon. And I, for one, am happy about that. It should come as no surprise that I am a big fan of crossover jeans, as I absolutely love trying anything, style-wise, that is a little bit different or unique. And crossover jeans definitely fit the bill.
The only reason I haven’t tried crossover jeans yet is because I was sure I would find a pair that I loved under $300 (*cough, cough* I’m looking at you R13). But, after ordering and trying on a whole bunch of crossover jeans, I found you don’t have a spend a fortune to find a cute pair. Yay!

6 Pairs Of Crossover Waist Jeans To Consider: AGOLDE, Gap, Daze & More
If you like your jeans to make a statement like I do, then you’ve probably considered trying pair of crossover jeans at some point. And, If you’re worried that you won’t be able to find a pair that look good on (like I did) I’m here to tell you…buy the dang crossover jeans, you won’t regret it.
I tried on 6 different pairs of crossover jeans that are worth your time. Crossover jeans are the perfect pair of slightly edgy, yet cool jeans to add to your everyday outfit rotation.
1. AGOLDE Criss-Cross Jeans
Shana convinced me to tryout these AGOLDE Criss-Cross jeans, because they are basically the ‘OG’ of criss-cross jeans. I am SO glad I did. I’m already a big fan of AGOLDE denim. I just think they make some of the most flattering jeans that you can find and they most definitely nailed it with this pair. I like the thicker, high-quality denim fabric they use and their vintage-inspired washes. Plus, I also really like the subtleness of the criss-cross waist on this particular pair. They are less daring than some of the other crossover jeans which makes them perfect as your first pair. Only downside to these jeans are they are seemingly sold out everywhere (especially in the medium blue wash I’m wearing below). I bought these through Poshmark and I am incredibly happy with this purchase.
Jeans (27) | Turtleneck (M) | Booties (8)
Wear To Buy: Revolve | Net-Porter | FWRD | Amazon
Fit Notes: These jeans are 100% cotton and are mid-weight denim, with a non-stretch fit (think: Levi’s denim) The pair above have a length of 43″, so even at 5ft7in, they are way too long for me. But, all the AGOLDE cross-over jeans I looked at online have around a 30″ inseam on average.
2. Gap’s High Rise Crossover Barrel Jeans
An immediate YES to these Gap crossover jeans. I really was not expecting to love these Gap jeans as much as I did, but they are actually perfection. The fit, the denim wash, the slight barrel leg are all SO GOOD. What’s best though, is the price. I was convinced that I would not find a pair of crossover jeans I would love for under $300, let alone for $79.95! I am really happy with this purchase. They are even better in real life.
Jeans (27) | Turtleneck (M) | Adidas Sambas (7.5)
FIT NOTES: These jeans are made from non-stretch denim: 95% cotton, 5% recycled cotton. They are made to fit baggy, with a slight barrel leg. They have a 17.5″ inseam, and the size 27 (regular) has a 29.5″ inseam. They also come in several different washes but this is the only crossover waist pair.
2. ALLSAINTS Crossover Wide-Leg Jeans
I knew I had to try these AllSaints wide-leg jeans as soon as I saw them online. I love the faded grey wash and subtle distressing. They are the perfect color denim for winter. Because the jeans are interesting all on their own – all you need is a black turtleneck and some Adidas Sambas to create a simply chic everyday winter look.
Jeans (27) | Turtleneck (M) | Shoes (7.5)
Fit Notes: These jeans are high-rise, with a wide-leg fit and slightly raw hems. They have 29″ inseam, and they are made from %100 cotton. The fabric is non-stretch but they still are very comfortable to wear.
3. Daze Sundaze Straight-leg Jeans
Wow. These jeans fit like a dream. I am thoroughly impressed with Daze denim so far (I’m currently working on a Daze denim try-on post). The price point is amazing, the jean quality is great and they are super flattering on. These run true to size and are currently 25% off. I really like how these jeans fit, and the subtle straight-leg fit is great for wearing over boots.
Jeans (27) | Turtleneck (M) | Similar Booties (8)
Fit Notes: Ugh. I just love how these fit and feel on. They are made from 65% cotton, 34% organic cotton, 1% elastane, so they are also comfortable. In a size 29, they have a 31″ inseam, a 16″ leg opening, a 12 1/2″ front rise and a 15 1/2″ back rise. They run TTS.
4. Hidden Denim Double Crossover High Waist Jeans
These are definitely the most daring/interesting pair of crossover jeans that I tried on. Hidden Denim is a new-to-me brand and I am a big fan of their affordable price points. If you like your jeans to make a statement, then these are for you. And if I’m being honest, they fit really, really well. They actually give me some semblance of a booty and for that, I am grateful.
Jeans (27) | Turtleneck (M) | Similar Booties (7.5)
Fit Notes: These jeans run true to size. The denim is great quality and is made of: 93% cotton, 5% polyester, 2% spandex, so they have a nice stretch to them but they don’t stretch out during wear, which is nice. They have a 31″ inseam; 11 1/2″ front rise and a zipper fly. I’m glad I took a chance on these.
5. Princess Polly Holly Asymmetric Crossover Waist Straight Leg Jeans
Okay, this is my first time buying from Princess Polly, and I was hopeful because the jeans look cute online and they are also affordable. And….I *almost* like these. Everything about them is good besides the awkward folds around the thighs. Otherwise, the quality of fabric is good and the style is similar to Levi’s, which I love.
Jeans (27) | Similar Top | Sambas (7.5)
Fit Notes: The best way to describe these jeans is they fit very similar to 501 Levi’s. But, the black wash is a bit more faded in real life than in product pictures online.
6. Flamingal Crossover Baggy Jeans
I almost didn’t purchase these, because you never know when it comes to ordering on Amazon. But, I took the risk because of the price point and because they are one of the few selections of reputable criss-cross jeans on Amazon. Color me pleasantly surprised when I tried these on and actually, kinda really like them. I love the denim wash and the oversized, baggy fit. Plus, they are pretty comfortable!
Jeans (M) | Turtleneck (M) | Sambas (7.5)
Fit Notes: If you are looking for a cool pair of baggy cross-over jeans, then these are for you. They have a very slouchy vibe, which I’m into at the moment and are made from 65% Cotton, 33%Polyester, 2% Elastane, and the fabric is lightweight and soft.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Until next time,
