This is a) one of the most subtle perfumes I have and also b) my most complimented! If you love Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, or other lighter “you but better” fragrances like Missing Person, I think you’ll love this, it’s one of my absolute favorites!
I Don’t Know What is a unisex scent. It technically has no notes, but when I smell it, I get the fresh citrusy-ness that comes from bergamot, lemon, vetiver, and sandalwood. It’s cool, dry, bright, and clean. It smells so good — whether you wear it alone or opt to layer it!
The brand has actually billed it as a “fragrance enhancer,” as opposed to a traditional perfume. That means it’s designed to layer with other scents, but I personally love how it smells on its own. It’s a little bit addictive, and the perfect unobtrusive everyday scent. And it’s fun when people ask you what you’re wearing to say, “I don’t know what!”
As a side note, I am a huge fan of DS & Durga. They’re a niche fragrance brand based in Brooklyn. If you ever have the chance to pop into one of their boutiques, do it! Absolutely beautiful scents.
