I mentioned this Our Place pan a while ago, but just noticed Nordstrom sells it now, and it’s on sale!
We love the pan in our household — it is my 13-year-old son’s favorite pan to cook in. It’s very easy to cook things in it evenly and without things sticking. My one complaint with the pan we have is that it isn’t oven safe, for those few recipes that require finishing in the oven — but that is a problem they’ve fixed in version 2.0, which is the version on sale for $100 right now.
I also got this for my mother in law for a gift and she reports that it’s their favorite pan also. I would get one for my brother and his small apartment kitchen, but I keep waiting for a color that’s more “him.”
In addition to being a really attractive, easy pan for cooking and cleaning, I love the multiple functions — it’s seriously a joy to steam things in this, cook sauces, make scrambled eggs, whatever. (They advertise it as 10-in-1 functions, and say you can braise, sear, steam, strain, saute, fry, boil, bake, serve, and store — and the pan is apparently deep enough to roast a chicken, also.) It’s a great pan for a small apartment. (Or, hey, a great idea for a Mother’s Day gift if your mom is downsizing — or a great graduation gift if you know any anyone building their kitchen collections.)
