The 2024 Jewelry Collections I Can’t Stop Thinking About

3

Countless jewelry collections made their debut in 2024, and we were privileged to see many of them in person at events like the JCK and Couture shows in Las Vegas this past spring.

There’s no question that all of us—collectors adding to their personal repertoires, retailers helping them to do so, and everyone else connected to the jewelry market—were spoiled with an abundance of incredible new pieces.

A few in particular took up residence inside my head from the moment I saw them. These are some of 2024’s new jewelry collections that I just can’t stop thinking about.

Polly Wales’ daisies

Polly Wales Daisy skull ring

This is it: my favorite collection of the year. I adore—no, obsess over—the work of Polly Wales, and am almost as enamored with daisies. Put the two together, and you get jewelry that’s positively irresistible. A springy expansion on the brand’s ClusterF@&$ collection, these florals are fine and fierce, as only Polly Wales can do. Marie Lichtenberg’s Raiz’in

Just as badass as Polly Wales’ daisies but for a different reason entirely, Raiz’in is Marie Lichtenberg’s way of tackling counterfeiting head-on, and she came out with a new edition of the line in 2024.

In addition to taking a stand against merciless copycats, the brand is donating some proceeds from the collection to Make-A-Wish France. Read more.

I had the pleasure of viewing Lagos’ new Studio collection at the Couture show in Las Vegas and was struck by its inherent heritage-ness. This is the work of an iconic jewelry house, with a slick L logo adorning some of the pieces, and killer gemstones to boot. Read more.

Fuli x Sunchin’s Trésors

Sunchin Tresors peridot ring
Trésors ring in 18k yellow gold with Fuli peridot, price on request; Sunchin

When “brat green” took over (however briefly) the summer, peridot was thrust into the spotlight in our industry, because it was a fantastic match for the color trend. But the thing about jewelry is its staying power, so when the shade of summer inevitably faded, peridot showed it never would. One of this year’s best examples of the gemstone’s everlasting appeal is a collaboration between Chinese jeweler Sunchin and peridot miner Fuli Gemstones. Aptly named Trésors, the capsule that is “green with sunshine” is a treasure indeed. Read more.
