Suqqu Skincare Cream Tint & Concealer Review
[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ll say up top that the shade I have (10) is not correct for me at the moment – my fault because I chose thinking ahead to winter and not to the review I would be doing while still in summer. I don’t know why I did that but here we are. So, I can still show you how well it works – or not – and show you the level of coverage. I’ve also got the new Suqqu concealer and as someone who doesn’t generally wear concealers because none of them work very well, I actually really do like it.

The new foundation formula is basically pigment blended directly with a rich moisturising cream so if you’re dry and your skin finds it hard to hold on to foundation, this could well be for you. It’s cool feeling and melty with a higher oil content that traditional Suqqu foundations so it’s going to help with preventing moisture loss, too.

In the next photo coming (after this) you can see both the concealer and the new Skincare Cream Tint a bit better but I wanted to illustrate how little of the concealer you actually need. Those little dots were plenty enough – the ones near my chin are to cover shadowing but that’s being super fussy – I wouldn’t normally do that. I almost never wear concealer because I don’t care about dark circles enough to put the effort in but I know it’s a staple for most. The Suqqu version, I think, is very versatile for older skin in particular because it didn’t do that very annoying thing of laying in skin creases on the very delicate under eye skin.

So, I think you can very well see how they work on the side of my face that has the product compared to the side that doesn’t. Even at the too-light shade, the base has given a much more even tone and the concealer has really made inroads into the dark circles. Suqqu Skincare Cream Tint is really about enhancing your skin rather than covering it completely. Although it’s billed as a radiance maker, I don’t find it quite as lightful as I’d hoped it would be and I generally prefer to be a bit more glowy. The formula contains pear juice ferment, some Camellia Sinensis leaf extract and nasturtium but I’d say those are the sexy ingredients – the key to Skincare Cream Tint is a good moisturiser with appropriate level pigment. The concealer is £36 HERE and the Skincare Cream Tint is yet to roll out to virtual beauty shelves.
