And while most of her now iconic tour mug shots—photos of her holding a mug that displays the location of the city she’s playing—feature long nails gripping each ceramic cup, her latest manicure appears to be keeping with the theme of the singer’s circuit.
Carpenter’s Instagram Stories reveal new short and sweet nails that barely extend beyond the tips of her fingers. In a mirror selfie that seems to have been taken right after her hair and makeup were done for her Paris concert (classic Carpenter ’90s-style bombshell curls, rosy-brown lips, across-the-bridge blush, and fully lined eyes), we can see that the manicure keeps it simple: pale, pearly pink with a super glossy finish.
