Neuroplasticity and medicine
When I had taught medical students from the University of Medical students at UCSF with my employees Igor Mitrovic, MD, Lynda Frassetto, MD and several respected “guest faculties”, I learned a lot about the challenges that doctors face. They treat problems that are largely symptoms of dysregulation and trauma, but until recently they had no neuroscientific, scalable way to help the patient re -wiring the circuits that hindered the effectiveness of their treatments.
With technology, EBT tries to support doctors and psychologists and other health professions relatives in order to re -wire these circuits and to make medical care more secure and effective.
From the spiral to the re -wiring of trauma
In the past 10 years, our research focused on simplifying the re -wiring process and carrying out the physiological resilience algorithm (which EBT providers use for coaching clinical sessions), which are supported by our mobile app. Thanks to our fantastic team, our latest upgrade brought these re -wiring practices to the app.
How does it work? Use the Spiral Up #1 Immediate boost for self -regulation in a minute or something. If you have two to three minutes and want to access all five tools of the EBT-5 point system of emotional and behavior-related regulation, touch Spiral Up #2 quickly and easily. Would you like to cause real damage to the wires that cause health problems? Touch the spiral #3 deep work.
The 3 steps of revision
Deep works have the greatest impact on their health problems. Our books on EBT (the solution to the stress overload, the solution for stress eaters and our latest and more scientific joy, 1-2-3 joy) describe all of this. In everyday life, however, the re -wiring has a top priority.
This is how it works: First, discover a circuit, preferably one deep in the brain (a “5 cycle”), since the re -wiring of these dream machines has the greatest influence on health. In contrast to circuits that are encoded at lower voltage levels (“4 circuits” and “3 circuits”), they often require emotional processing. Positive plasticity occurs when tension activates a wire and we remain present to the emotions.
In order to remain the emotions, the circuit in brain state 1 or 2.
Redate again in small steps – or poof!
The mobile EBT app now divides the process into the three steps, including the discovery of the circuit, followed by the expectations embedded in the circuit (e.g. “I get my security from eating sweets” and other false associations or “I have no strength” and other false generalizations) and finally turns the circuit into a new health promotion wire.
When the circuit was coded during a traumatic episode, the re -wiring requires grief losses and healing of fear memories. Therefore, it takes more time and more use of the tools to re -twist. It takes as long as it takes! However, neuroplasticity takes intensity and passion. One of the components of our group programs is access to a certified EBT provider in order to lead the process and to initiate support and accountability in order to keep the intensity and to reumire faster and more.
Nevertheless, the emotional brain cooperates when deleting these circuits. If our EBT skills are strong and we “strike” the circuit with you, the circuit will reward us in a session with a degrading check. Psychologists often report such occurrences in their meetings with a number of methods, but our goal at EBT is to make these re -wire experiences much more often and sometimes even to the members if they use the app solo.
Since the stress pandemic has an impact on all of us, we can share better EBT in the health system for doctors, patients and our world. Special thanks go to Dev Singh for programming this entire app, Frannie Wilson, for the evidence and processing and our family of providers, trainers and participants who have given us feedback and helped us bring these tools to you.
