Neiman Marcus Dip – Plain Chicken
Neiman Marcus Dip Recipe – a must-make party favorite! Loaded with bacon, cheese, green onions, and almonds in a creamy base, it’s always the first thing to disappear. Perfect with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies. Quick, easy, and always a crowd-pleaser!

Million Dollar Dip
Neiman Marcus Dip is hands-down one of our go-to party staples—it shows up at every gathering and never, ever disappoints. It’s creamy, cheesy, salty, and full of crispy bacon and green onions, and something about that combo just keeps everyone coming back for more. As soon as I set it out, it disappears. People always ask for the recipe, and I never leave a party with leftovers!

How to Make Neiman Marcus Dip
This cheese dip is effortless to make with only a few simple ingredients. Grate a block of sharp cheddar cheese and white cheddar cheese. Place the cheese in a large mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, chopped green onions, sliced almonds, cooked bacon, garlic powder, and hot sauce to the bowl and stir to combine—season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
Helpful Tips & Frequently Asked Questions
- This dip is best with freshly grated cheese. I like to use a combination of sharp cheddar and white cheddar.
- You can use any cheese that you like in this dip – gouda, Jarlsberg, Monterey Jack, or Swiss cheese – anything goes!
- I use precooked bacon crumbles in this recipe. I buy it in large bags at Sam’s Club and Costco.

- Substitute turkey bacon for lower calories.
- Some versions of this dip use almond slivers. I prefer sliced almonds, but either is fine.
- Is Neiman Marcus Dip gluten-free? Yes, all of the ingredients are gluten-free.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
- Leftovers are delicious on a sandwich, on top of a burger, or baked potato.

What to Serve with Almond Bacon Cheese Spread
Neiman Marcus Dip is the kind of thing that makes anything you dip in it taste even better, so I like to serve it with a little variety.
- Serve the cheese spread alongside your favorite dippers. Sturdy chips like tortilla chips, corn chips, pretzels, or buttery Ritz crackers are always a hit, but it’s also great with sliced baguette or toasted crostini if you want to dress it up a bit.
- For something on the lighter side, fresh veggies like celery sticks, bell pepper strips, or cucumber rounds work perfectly and add a nice crunch.
- It also pairs well with other party staples—think pigs in a blanket, sausage balls, or a tray of cold cuts and cheese. Basically, if it can scoop, dip, or dunk, it’s fair game.
