Hailey Bieber Is Bringing Back Cold Girl Makeup With Her New Tutorial

2

Remember the cold girl makeup trend from a couple of years ago? Or perhaps you recall it as the “I’m cold” makeup look. As someone who lives in South Florida, I always appreciated it because I can’t naturally achieve the pretty pink effect of being outside in freezing, blustery conditions. Hailey Bieber appreciated it, too, being one of the early adopters of the TikTok-launched look, and based on her latest mini makeup tutorial, it appears she still is.

“The trend is all about the blush,” makeup artist Kate Synnott told Allure when it was first ramping up, and Bieber confirms that’s for damn sure. The TikTok clip starts with the model and entrepreneur applying an abundance of her own Rhode Pocket Blush, swiping it on a very broad area of her cheeks—from all the way under her cheekbone to nearly under her eye, and way up toward the temple. She blends with a brush, dragging the intense yet fresh pink shade (I think it’s either Piggy or Juice Box) across her nose for that cold vibe.

The winter-inspired look continues with a layer of frosty Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil highlighter on her eyelids, followed by more Pocket Blush dabbed on her lips, but not before lining her lips in a neutral shade of the very well-teased lip liner Rhode is allegedly dropping soon. Of course, Bieber didn’t say anything about it. In fact, all she said in the caption is a festive combo of emojis, including a disco ball and Christmas trees, and the only audio is Wham’s “Last Christmas.”

It’s also worth noting that Bieber is currently wearing what is perhaps the sheerest manicure we’ve seen on her in ages. But, like her lids, it’s got a perfect touch of shimmer—or glaze, rather. (This is Hailey Bieber we’re talking about.)
