Get Ready for Spring Hair

5

As the seasons shift from winter to spring, so do our hair care routines and styling preferences. Anh shares his insights on how to navigate this seasonal transition smoothly while keeping hair healthy and stylish.

Hair Care Routines

During the winter months, Anh emphasizes the importance of using heavier products to combat dryness and static. “In winter, I tend to use a little more of Milbon’s leave-in primer and styling creams to keep the hair hydrated, non-static, and shiny,” he explains. As spring arrives, however, the approach changes significantly. Anh prefers lighter products that allow for a more buoyant look. “For spring, I like to use Milbon’s Weightless Replenishing Mist. You don’t want the hair to weigh down; you want it light and airy.”

A Fresh Cut

As spring approaches, many clients seek a refreshing change. Anh notes, “Usually, when it comes to springtime, my clients and I love to get a great chop—something lighter and fresh for the spring.” The transition into a new season often accompanies a change in wardrobe, making it the perfect opportunity to reshape your hair. A fresh cut can revitalize one’s look and perfectly complement seasonal attire.

Trending Colors and Highlights

In terms of hair color, Anh observes a divergence between edgy and mainstream trends. “Vivid colors are still a trend for the edgier clients, but for the mainstream, warm tones are very much in style.” He loves these warmer shades, describing them as “different and fresh.” Expect to see lots of mushroom colors and warm golden blondes this spring—perfect for a soft and feminine touch.

Essential Styling Tools

For those transitioning their hairstyles, Anh cannot recommend styling with the Dyson Airwrap enough. “I still love the airwrap. It’s so versatile” he shares, noting how helpful it can be for achieving various spring looks without the hassle.

Easy Hairstyles

As spring unfolds, Anh encourages clients to think about how refreshing a great cut and change of color can ease the transition. Whether it’s a soft wave or a chic bob, now is the time to embrace fresh hairstyles that align with the rejuvenating spirit of spring.

With Anh’s tips, transitioning your hair from winter to spring can be an effortless process. By adjusting your hair care routine and embracing new colors and styles, you’ll be ready to step into the new season with confidence and flair!
