Dukachi’s Easter-Inspired Jewels Are Delicious
Whether religion or the Easter bunny takes a front seat at your house this Sunday, I think there’s one thing we can all agree on: Easter is positively rich with treats. From chocolate eggs for the kids (and perhaps adults, too?) to the sweet breads that fill tables across the globe, this spring holiday’s cuisine is a delight to our taste buds.
Ukrainian fine jewelry brand Dukachi took this under consideration when creating its new capsule collection, Easter Reimagining. “We were inspired by the shared Easter traditions across cultures—from Ukrainian paska and Italian pane di Pasqua to French brioche de Pâques, Greek tsoureki, and Spanish mona de Pascua,” Dukachi cofounders Anna and Liza Knyzhenko tell JCK in an email. “These symbolic breads take different shapes and meanings, but they all celebrate renewal, family, and the continuity of tradition.”
Dukachi has translated these traditional baked goods into two handcrafted pendant designs: a domed shape resembling a decadent panettone, and a beautiful wreath, braided like some festive breads.

“Our goal was to reinterpret these familiar forms through jewelry, preserving their symbolism while expressing them in a modern, wearable way,” the Knyzhenko sisters say. “The design process involved a lot of experimentation with form, proportion, and enamel to capture the softness and warmth of the original shapes. Each piece reflects what we call modern heritage—a personal connection to cultural memory, reimagined for today.”
The capsule features five 14k gold pendants in total, varying by color of gemstones. Each is available with either natural or lab-grown diamonds, and they are all handmade in Kyiv.
