  • Mozzarella- Fresh mozzarella is rich and creamy. Get the ciliegine size, which is about the size of a cherry, making it perfect for these skewers.
  • Cherry tomatoes- The size and flavor of these tomatoes make them just right for this recipe. Their sweetness goes well with the other ingredients.
  • Basil- Use fresh basil for its aroma and herbaceous flavor.
  • Balsamic glaze- This is a rich glaze that is sweet and tangy, the perfect accompaniment to the tomatoes and cheese.
