How to Make Breakfast Butter Swim Biscuits

This recipe is incredibly easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large skillet, cook pork sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink, Drain excess grease.

Melt butter in an 8-inch baking dish or microwave-safe bowl. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Add cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl. Pour in buttermilk into the dry ingredients and stir until a loose dough forms.

Press the biscuit dough in the pan on top of the melted butter with a spatula or your hands. Using a sharp knife, cut the biscuit dough into 9 squares and bake until golden brown.
