Alo Appoints Benedetta Petruzzo as CEO of International

Alo has appointed Benedetta Petruzzo as chief executive of its international operations, the brand announced on Saturday.
In her new role, Petruzzo will manage the scale of Alo’s global operations, focusing on client experience, market strategy and brand identity, while centring its wellness category. The Los Angeles-based wellness and activewear brand currently ships to 128 nations and operates over 100 stores across 26 countries.
Petruzzo joins Alo from Dior, where she served as managing director since October 2024. Previously, she was the chief executive of Miu Miu, overseeing a period of explosive growth at the Prada subsidiary, whose revenues nearly doubled in the first half of 2024, buoyed by viral, Gen Z-favourite products like its cut-off “micro skirts.”
The appointment comes as Alo works to strengthen its luxury proposition: Last September, the activewear label launched a collection of high-end leather handbags that cost as much as $3,600, as part of its Alo Atelier line. It’s also expanded its international footprint, with its first Parisian flagship on the Champs-Élysées set to open early this year.
