Like any good Millennial, I love me some Abercrombie. But more than that, I am continually impressed with the quality and styling of their clothes and I’ve realized that A&F is one of the brands I’ve bought consistently over the years.
I love the styling versatility, from tees to sweatshirts to the cutest dresses – their stuff is good across the board. I don’t typically shop at Abercrombie for jeans; but I’ve found some of my favorite activewear, skirts, and oversized tees there.
Abercrombie Haul & Try-On 2025: 8 Everyday Pieces (and 2 to Skip)
I recently did a full Abercrombie try-on haul—these are the pieces I’m loving (and a couple I’m sending back).

So, maybe I went a little nuts and bought everything I’ve been eyeing at Abercrombie past few months for a good old-fashioned try-on. There were lots of hits and even a few misses too. So let’s get into it.
1. Top Pick: This Everyday Outfit That Just Works

This outfit is my ideal ‘go-to’ casual, everyday look as we transition from Spring into Summer. Every single piece I’m wearing is extremely comfortable, right down to the Adidas Barredas Decode sneakers which are the most comfortable pair of Adidas I’ve ever owned. They are soft and flexible, especially in comparison to the Sambas, which I love — but these almost feel like house slippers.
2. Jorts, But Make Them 2025

Just a few months ago, if you had told me I’d be wearing jorts and loving them, I would’ve probably have laughed in your face. I just love how dang comfortable they are – they are easy to move in, sit in, and are actually incredibly versatile. These jorts come in so many great washes too, including: white, black, dark wash, medium wash, and several of them come with a cute drawstring belt. I’m thinking of getting the black pair, as I already have a pair of light wash jorts that I love from Madewell. Also, these shorts are currently 30% off!

FIT NOTES: These jorts fit true to size and have a regular inseam of 9.25″. They are made from: 77% Cotton, 23% Lyocell / Pocket Bag:70% Polyester, 30% Cotton. I’m also keeping this retro-inspired ribbed contrast-trim tank, it’s an easy ‘yes’ for me. I also loved the asymmetrical linen-blend red vest, though I am not sure the color is for me. I love that the vest has an adjustable back tie straps because it did fit me a little loose, especially in the underarm area. I love the gingham pattern, but my size was sold out when I was ordering.
3. This Drop-Waist Midi Dress = Instant Outfit

FIT NOTES: This is one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever tried on. If you need a dress that you can move in without worry, this is a terrific option. It’s gotten incredible reviews and comes in regular, petite, and tall sizes. I love the flattering high neck and the dropped waist. It fits true to size and is made from: 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester / Elastic:76% Polyester, 24% Elastane / Lining:100% Cotton.
4. New York Vintage Sunday Crew Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt was the first item I put into my cart. I ordered it so quickly. It has a 4.9 rating from 27 reviews and I absolutely understand why. It is incredibly soft and made from Abercrombie’s Soft A&F MAX heavyweight fabric and is a “leggings-friendly length, which covers the bum. It is SO COMFORTABLE!

FIT NOTES: This crewneck sweatshirt features a relaxed chest width and banded cuffs and hem. It’s made from: 70% Cotton, 30% Polyester / Embroidery:100% Polyester / Rib:100% Cotton. It can be machine washed and tumble dried on the low setting. It has a body length of 28″.
5. This Slim Double-Zip Denim Jacket

I love that the length and fit of this jacket are similar to the classic Levi’s denim jacket that we all know and love but with minimalist details. This jacket comes in a medium wash and a dark wash as well and is currently 20% off! But sizes are going fast. 6. Polka Dot Linen-Blend Top

I have a thing for polka dots right now. If I had spotted this top when I did my Polka Dot Round-up Post, I definitely would have included it. It’s fresh, fun and flattering. Unfortunately, it’s also almost sold out. But there is a black option and a white option still available.

FIT NOTES: What I love about this top, besides the style and the print, is the adjustable tie back straps that can be adjusted to make this top fit perfectly. It’ also made from soft linen-blend fabric, with smocking on the bodice. It’s made from:55% Linen, 45% Viscose / Lining:100% Viscose and fits true to size.
7. This Bubble Hem Denim Dress

As soon as spring rolls around, I have found that one of the first pieces I always want is a denim dress. I just cannot resist a cute lil’ denim dress and this one is really, really great (please disregard the wrinkles, it was a very busy weekend). I love the square neckline, the trending bubble hem and the front seaming detailing. It’s super flattering and comfortable to wear. It has adjustable button straps, comes in petite, regular and tall sizing and is made from: 99% Cotton, 1% Elastane / Lining:70% Polyester, 30% Cotton. It also comes in black denim, is currently fully stocked in all sizes and is 20% off!
8. Honorable Mention: One-Button Textural Cardigan

This is a perfect spring to summer cardigan option. I really love the one button closure – it’s simple and understated. It’s easy fitting and made with soft yarn fabric. It’s made of 74% cotton and 26% nylon. It fits true to size and also comes in light brown and white. It fits true to size and is currently 20% off and stocked in all sizes.
9. Jeans Fail #1: Mid-Rise Slouchy Jeans

Okay, so these aren’t terrible but I was really excited about them, they were one of the items I was most looking forward to trying on. I love jeans with any extra detailing, like the cool carpenter-inspired seam-work on the front. I just have a few gripes about them though — awkward folding in the crotch area and they’re way too long (even though I ordered the regular length). They are quite comfortable, though!
10. Jeans Fail #2: Low-Rise Baggy Jeans

*Le Sigh* These jeans just did nothing for me. They were so loose and baggy and they felt very unflattering on me. This is the first time I’ve ordered low-rise jeans and I am not impressed – they just fit me terribly. I did order the regular length and they were still way too long. I did like the cool contrast, tonal waistband but that’s about it.
