Was there an anticipation for you to take part in university formation? Did you take part in a form of university formation? If so, how did you pay for it?
Yes. There was never a discussion about doing something other than going to college (if I’m honest, I don’t know what I would have or would have if I hadn’t visited the college). I paid very little out of my pocket. Our state has tops, which corresponds to similar scholarships that are based on its act results. I am not sure how it works in other countries. Between this and Pell grants, most of my college was paid for until the tops were shortened by a semester. Then I had to pay $ 800 myself, and of course I paid books and workbook keys. When I went to the Graduate School, I was a graduate helper – I paid fees, but I was avoided my tuition fees because I worked for school.
What conversations did you have about money? Have you informed your parents/legal guardians about finance?
We didn’t really have any conversations about money, but I knew we didn’t have much. My mother was a single mother and she worked as a secretary part -time. I knew I didn’t have what other children had – I saw how my friends have new things or go on a trip, and we didn’t do it until my sister and I both earn our own money. It’s okay, my friends have always shared and brought me.
What was your first job and why did you get it?
My first job was terrible. I was 17 and it was a grocery store. My colleagues were fine most of the time, but when I worked the register, we always had terrible customers. Rude people, rough men who try to flirt with them (know retail staff). I made it to pay my car insurance and pay off my senior ring.
Have you worried about money that grew up?
I did it. I would often ask my mother if we were owe. I’ve always been worried as a child. When the 2008 economic accident took place, I would look at the news and my mother ask if we were doing well.
Are you worried about money now?
I do. I have the feeling that I have a “livable wage” in time to do inflation so as not to defend it everywhere except in this state. I don’t want to stay here. I am currently looking for a higher paid job so that I can move to Atlanta because I don’t think this content will cut it out there.
At what age do you become responsible for yourself financially and do you have a financial security network?
I would say when I moved out at 23. But I pulled back home and became independent again after his 26th time. I don’t want to work forever.
Do you have or have you ever received a passive or inherited income? If so, please explain.
I said we were poor, lol. No hereditary income here. My grandparents have no assets that we can pass on to us. My parents will leave us insurance money if they die, but hopefully they still have many years ahead of them.
