A Week in London in Picture 2025

London

London. Ah what a luxury to spend a week in this amazing city.

It’s been years, honestly, since I’ve been able to enjoy this city a bit more deeply. In the past several years, my time in London was more like this 36-hour trip to London or two separate jaunts during the spring of 2022.

London The Shard

This time I got to savor the city. I had the luxury of 9 (!) days in London. Two weekends! We saw two West End shows, tried a number of restaurants, met up with friends, did a lot of business meetings, and spent some time with my colleagues.

London

I also had a lot more time to walk the city, my favorite way of experiencing a city. This time, I had my new camera, so I explored. We were also staying in a new part of London we didn’t know as well: Borough Market + Tower Bridge area.

London

I walked multiple miles almost every day. I loved walking along the Thames and just soaking in this city’s amazing views.

We were right next to the Shard (the sharp looking glass building), and I even got to spend some time up there while visiting one of my clients!

Shows + Museums

London UK Totoro Show

The luxury of 2 weekends in London meant being able to see two shows in the West End.

London Tower Bridge

I took every opportunity I could to jog across the Tower Bridge and along the Thames! I loved living just a couple minutes from the river.

London

So many cool buildings have come up in London in the past decade. This one’s affectionately called the Walkie Talkie Building.

There’s a bigger version of this guy at MIT!

London Tube

Please mind the gap.

We attended Sunday service at St. Paul’s Cathedral, which was really special!

London Race

And watched a race, which was really inspiring!

Of course we had to visit Covent Garden . . .

British Museum London

. . . and The British Museum.

And That’s a Wrap!

And that wraps up our London Series for 2025! It was a longer series this time due to all the days we spent there. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to spend such a long stretch there again, so I’ll cherish these memories.
