Saint Laurent Fall 2025 Collection Review
The final night of Paris Fashion Week granted us the unveiling of the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 collection. Anthony Vaccarello closed out PFW (for the first time) the only way he knows how – with a star-studded fashion extravaganza. Stars like Kate Moss, Catherine Deneuve, and Zoë Kravitz were just some of the A-list talent scattered along the front row. More was undoubtedly more, with bold colors and volumes dominating the Saint Laurent runway this season. Vaccarello, who has served as creative director since 2016, sought inspiration from Monsieur Saint Laurent’s work from the 80s, embracing his use of color and sculpted shoulder silhouette. To top it off? Bella Hadid staged another runway comeback for Vaccarello, helping the Belgian designer close out PFW with one almighty bang!
Saint Laurent Fall 2025 Collection Review
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Is he leaving ? The soundtrack definitely indicated that, unless I am reading into it too much.” [Salvatore]
“I was getting the same vibe. Hope that’s not the case though, despite its glaring flaws, Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent has been a favorite of mine. I hope that he at least makes it to the 10-year-milestone.” [LadyJunon]
“That was a sad show and a boring collection. Three silhouettes repeated a million times in different colors.” [Avonlea]
“Vaccarello’s collections are like when you have stretch out your essay as much as you can to hit the word count. It’s literally just a handful of looks reproduced in various colors. And the looks are always something plucked from the archives. He’s the laziest designer out there.” [Marc10]
“What a snoozefest. If anything, I think there is a talent in how Vaccarello can somehow suck the life out of everything.” [crisistunity]
“Absolutely stunning. The music made me really emotional all of a sudden for some reason.” [proseccotabis]
“Those color combinations, volumes and proportions at the start of the collection are FABULOUS. So bold, graphic, rich, and oh so fantastically 80s. Admittedly, however, I am not a fan of those dresses toward the end of the collection. They’re awful and feel out of place – like an afterthought.” [vogue28]
“I can see big-volume gowns are not his forte, because they look weird in motions by the way they bounce, it’s just seem off. Good color palette, I guess.” [THD96]
