We’ve Never Seen Pamela Anderson With Old Hollywood Waves Like This
Pamela Anderson has given us so many iconic hairstyles in the decades we’ve known and loved her. Perhaps her most famous is wind-swept blonde beach waves thanks to her Baywatch years, but we’ve also witnessed ‘90s supermodel-style blonde bombshell volume, and of course, her famous go-to tousled updo that apparently always had G-string panties woven into its glamorous messiness. More recently, Anderson has opted for lower-key hairstyles that mirror her current makeup-free predilection, but a special night like the Screen Actors Guild Awards calls for a special break from both yesterday’s and today’s norms.
Anderson was nominated for Female Actor in a Lead Role—a ridiculously talent-stacked category that included the likes of Cynthia Erivo and Demi Moore, who ended up winning the SAG—and while she didn’t take home the trophy for her role in The Last Showgirl, she will absolutely have us talking about her stunning look for as long as we’ll be celebrating her performance. The Sonsie Skin founder wore an off-white, one-shoulder Dior gown with a drapey, flowing sleeve that made her look like she belonged on Mount Olympus with the rest of the Greek gods. She continued her radiant, fresh-faced streak, skipping any noticeable makeup and letting her freckles adorably adorn her cheeks. But it was Anderson’s out-of-character hair that gave the look an especially glamorous twist.
Deeply side-parted, Anderson’s relatively new bangs were given the side-swept treatment and curled under to kick off an overall retro style. Her hair was sculpted into loose yet very intentionally shaped curls that drifted past her shoulder, with one side partially tucked behind her ear.
