A constant on this season’s award circuit, Demi Moore hit tonight’s 2025 SAG Awards with her always-impeccable ageless style. Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, Moore not only took home a statue, but the mega-star also debuted a different hair style that is sure to become an “easy” trend.
“Demi’s look for the SAG Awards featured a custom Bottega Veneta dress, and because the dress had such strong geometric elements, I wanted to keep her hair effortless and tousled,” says celeb hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. “The vibe was all about ‘Lazy Girl Hair.’ Demi is far from lazy, but this trend perfectly balances the structure of her outfit.”
A spin on her normal long, sleek strands, Moore’s style started with the star product of mousse. “I applied a volumizing mousse at the roots to build body and texture,” says Giannetos. “Using a round brush, I blow-dried the hair to create lift and smoothness.”
He then switched between two different curling irons—a 1-inch and a 1.5-inch—to add dimension and create uneven waves for a more natural feel.
“I sprayed a texturizing spray throughout the hair to enhance volume and hold,” Giannetos says. “To finish, I tousled the hair with my fingers for that effortless, undone look.”
