At first glance, the tinted French or “French glow” manicure looks incredibly similar to its classic predecessor. But the focus here is on the shine, which gives the nails almost jelly -like lights. “The French shine is intended to improve its natural nail color, give a super shiny effect and create the illusion of perfected nails with a French tip,” explains the Session Manicurist Ami Street. Similar to the natural nail tones that were popular last year, it indicates that the tinted French differ slightly: “It ahms a refined French look, while nail materials only offer a delicate splash of color,” says streets.
