5 Party-Ready Looks! – The Stripe
While the holidays can be a little stressful at times, I LOVE a holiday party and any excuse to get dressed up. Today’s post has five very fun and festive party outfit ideas. I hope you enjoy!
PS – in the above outfit, my shoes are old (but these are very similar) and my dress sold out during the Black Friday madness (but this floral version is incredible!). The earrings are still available . . . they were a special splurge this summer.
five party-ready looks.
This dress from Anthropologie was one of my favorite purchases. I’ve worn it a ton already, and it is so comfortable and flattering. Elastic waist, pockets? The best. I also have this velvet version which is so fun. And, we do need to talk about this highlighter. It is one of the best I’ve tried. The perfect golden pearl, very easy to blend, catches the light beautifully! We have a code for this brand; use GRACE-15.
Two things… one splurge, one steal: I am a huge fan of this $16 Sephora Collection lip color in Chili Pepper. Also, nobody does it better than Grainne Morton when it comes to party earrings. Their pieces are a bit spendy but they are so so special and unique.
This look is chic and elegant. The Anine Bing blazer (also available here and here) is the perfect “wear with everything” style. Add a pair of wide leg pants (and a sexy sheer top to keep things party vs. professional) and you’re in business. And I LOVE this Dôen bag!
Carly found this fringed mini dress and we are both obsessed with it. If you are feeling more shy, you could do an opaque tight (my favorites!) or even do the matching pants for an oversized and fun look. These sequined pumps are a perfect pairing. I have them and love them so much. The perfect balance of festive and comfortable.
I can’t get enough of this look. It’s ladylike but also fun and playful, which is how I try to dress! I love the mish-mosh of textures. This top feels really special and pairs so well with the gold (Banana Republic!) skirt. Also, these Emme Parsons t-strap sandals are on major sale and the gold hair tie looks so much more expensive than its $14.50 price tag.
I don’t know, this one might be my favorite of all. I love red all year ’round but especially for the holidays. This dress is magnificent! Pair it with a gold sandal, great jewelry, and our favorite little Savette bag and you are ready for a night of FUN. Also, this Jones Road eye shadow is a favorite. It’s literally a wash of sparkles. You can go big by building layers, or just do one sheer wash.
