Kim Kardashian Predicts She Has ’10 Years’ Left of Good Looks
Kim Kardashian predicts that she has one decade left of good looks, as admitted during the latest episode of The Kardashians, which aired on June 20. This candid revelation came alongside an exciting announcement about her future plans. The reality star and entrepreneur shared that she is setting her sights on working on one movie per year as part of her new goal of acting and producing.
The conversation arose over dinner with her longtime friends. During the meal, she announced that she sold a comedy film titled The Fifth Wheel after pitching it alongside writers Paula Pell and Janine Brito to various film studios in a single day. They received multiple offers but ultimately chose Netflix. Kardashian also so-casually revealed that she will be both starring in and producing the film.
The announcement surprised her friends, who asked why she hadnโt mentioned it sooner. She admitted that sheโs a bit overwhelmed by it all. โIโm really nervous about it โcause I have to fโking deliver,โ she told them. โItโs such a challenge for me and I want to welcome a challenge, and Iโm like, every year I want to do something that makes me so uncomfortable that I really have to challenge myself.โ
Thatโs when the show flashed to Kardashianโs private confessional, where she perhaps jokingly, perhaps seriously, spoke about her future. โI can do a movie a year,โ she said. โIโve got about ten years where I still look good, so thatโs all Iโve got in me and then Iโll take some time off. Thatโs my 10-year plan.โ
She elaborated further on the pressure during her confessional, explaining that when the offers came in, it triggered some self-doubt. โHow do they know I can do it?โ she wondered aloud. โNow, itโs like the pressureโs on because itโs like, โOh shit this is happening. And Iโm, like, tripping the fโk out low-key because I have to really do this and I have to deliver.โ
While talking with her friends, Kardashian set some boundaries and shared her concerns about her newfound acting career. She joked, โI also feel like you need less Botox for more emotion, and I donโt have it,โ she joked. โIโm not gonna be gaining 500 pounds for a role or losing โฆ thatโs not where I need to be. How am I gonna cry? How am I gonna be scared out of my mind?โ
Itโs clear that she has a few hurdles to work through as she embarks on her ten-year plan, but thereโs no doubt her determination shines through. Perhaps this next decade might just be her most transformative yet.
