Tis the season of getting all dolled up! I have done a pretty good job managing my calendar and not overcommitting too much, and I feel proud of that! Still, I have a few nights a week where I am getting dressed up, in which case I have favorite outfit combinations I like to lean on. A matchy-matchy silk set (paired with structured accessories to keep it from looking like pajamas). A fabulous mini dress, tights, and heels. Flowy La Ligne satin Colby Pants with something fitted up top.
I could go on, but I will just say, I hope this post inspires you while getting dressed up. Whether you treat yourself to a new party dress or accessory, or shop your closet and put things together you already own in a new way, it’s about having FUN. Because otherwise, what’s the point?
5 Fun, Festive Party Outfits
I wore this metallic mini dress to my birthday party in the green. The gold would be SO fun for NYE or a holiday party. I was delighted to see that it’s currently on mega sale (under $200!). Can’t recommend it enough, just size up! Also, this is probably my most-worn lip product. Rose Latte is perfect for daytime, but Bonbon Coquelicot is perfect for night.
Navy and silver is an underrated (but excellent) combination. These cropped pants + this shimmery top with black accessories is to die for. And Savette’s new satin clutches are just a dream. I wound up purchasing the chocolate brown but really love the two-tone hardware on the black.
The outfit above inspired this one! The flats I am wearing in the photo are Le Monde Beryl from a few years ago but these Tuckernuck flats are an A+ swap. Add simple jewels and a coordinating handbag, and you’re ready to go! Also, this BaubleBar necklace is so great. It looks like it could be a family treasure.
Oh boy do I love Sea. Everything they do is perfect! You can see me wearing this dress in yesterday’s Instagram post. It’s perfect. The fabric is super stretchy and really comfortable. Add my fave bezel drops (these are delicate and great for every day . . . and so sparkly they look real!
We had to include a look with the Colby pants, as I adore them. They are the most comfortable, chic pants in all of the land. I have several colors and will probably buy another pair this month. I can’t get enough of them. And I love the structure of this jacket, and OMG, can you even believe this fringe pouch? The coolest. I audibly gasped upon finding it.
