Michelle Sabia, MPH, CPH

Michelle Sabia is passionate about health equity and has dedicated her career to supporting underserved populations through education, direct service programs and advocacy. She is certified in public health and received her master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. She has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit health organizations and the health care delivery industry. Most recently, Michelle led federal payment programs and community health initiatives at a local health system in Washington State. Her greatest accomplishment was the design and implementation of a social determinants of health program that addresses the social needs of patients in the clinical setting.

Michelle’s professional passion is reflected in her volunteer work, serving on the board of Neighborhood Clinic Tacoma, a free clinic for those who cannot access or afford health care services.

Although she currently lives in Washington and loves the area’s unique natural beauty, Michelle was born and raised in the Northeast and is quick to tell you that her heart will always be in New York. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy raising backyard chickens, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
