5 Affordable Quince Teacher Outfits For Fall (All Under $100)

81

We got a reader question the other day about teacher outfits — and honestly, I jumped at the chance to help. I have a lot of teacher friends, and I know the back-to-school scramble is already A LOT before you even get to the “what am I wearing?” part.

My first thought? Quince. Their high-quality, under-$100 pieces are perfect for building a versatile wardrobe you can actually live in — and then you can just sprinkle in some fun accessories or pops of color to keep things feeling fresh.

So…here we are. Five easy, comfy-but-polished outfit ideas for the classroom (or a casual office) this fall, all built with Quince pieces (and yep, even the shoes are under $100).

Favorite Basics From Quince For Your Fall Work Wardrobe

If you want a quick list of a few Quince team favorites, here ya go! These are some pieces many of us have grown to love for our own closets over the past couple of years. Also — be sure to check out our giant post on What To Buy (& Skip!) At Quince, right here. Other outfit ideas featuring more great fall basics are below:

5 Outfit Ideas For Teachers Featuring Pieces From Quince

Quince’s selection is so good right now — and nope, this isn’t sponsored. The whole team has just been pretty dang impressed for a while. They nail those lovely, high-quality basics that make building outfits easy, and then I layered in a few fun accessories from other spots…just to add a little wow-factor.

However, kids are tough critics. (I have a 7th grader, so trust me, I know…that’s basically like promising you the moon and stars, lol.) But even if middle-school approval isn’t guaranteed, I hope these ideas give you a few fresh outfit sparks for the new semester.

Outfit 1: Not-So-Basic Cardigan + Black Pants Look

Kicking things off with one of my forever-favorite color combos: tan + black with a little pop of green. It’s classic but still feels fresh — especially thanks to this cardigan I adore. It’s an easy piece that looks a bit more modern because of the slightly cropped length. It’s a high-quality feeling cotton and is an item I’ll continue to keep in my closet as a fall go-to. These pants are highly reviewed and my favorite style black pant to wear. I added closed-toe sandals for the beginning of the school year, but you could easily swap out with black loafers for later.

Outfit 2: Linen Vest + Jeans in Blues

This vest look is such a fun one — I’m loving the blue-on-blue situation, and the pretty bandana just pulls it all together. The warm, fall-toned bag makes it the perfect transitional outfit as we shift from late summer into the cooler season. I’d layer in this cotton knit blazer if you need something to warm it up a bit. Not into wearing bandanas on your neck or in your hair? Tie it on the bag to still add a pop of print.

Outfit 3: Monochromatic For The Win (Featuring The Best Shirt Jacket)

01 | 02 | 03 | 04 | 05 | 06 | 07

I adore a monochromatic look. It just automatically makes the vibe instantly chic. And yet this combo would be so easy and comfortable for all day, too. The contrasting printed bag adds some fun and the gorgeous (and warm) shirt jacket takes this through fall and even into winter as a great layer.

Outfit 4: For Those Early Still-Warm Days – A Gauze Dress

01 | 02 | 03 | 04 | 05

I did include plenty of transitional pieces here since it seems like this time of year is toughest to figure out what to wear. In this navy color though, this dress will go into fall easily. Just layer with knee boots and a long cardigan to warm it up some. For now, I’m excited to wear my fisherman sandals into fall, like I included above, and since they’re closed-toe, they work!

Outfit 5: Jeans + A Sweater But Better

01 | 02 | 03 | 04 | 05 | 06

I love the vibe of this outfit with the campus style boots, cropped denim and fitted turtleneck (that looks oh so soft and good btw.) And green is just my fav, so I threw in that gorgeous suede tote that I now need. This jacket from Quince is so soft and comfortable and has stretch so it would be a comfy all-day piece. Quince has previously had some really cool cropped wide leg jeans that were the inspo for this look (you can see on the model if you click through to the turtleneck) but they seem to currently be out of stock. I’ll keep an eye out for them and update if they pop up. (Hopefully!)
