1. Jenni Kayne Fisherman Cashmere Sweater
sweater (S)
Shana says: The fisherman sweater that launched a thousand lookalikes, this is still one of my very favorite sweaters. I’ve worn this thing running errands, out at night, and skiing. I’ve washed it in the washing machine (lay flat to dry). It’s a total workhorse. The softness is next level, and the drape is great. I can recommend this sweater in any color you like, and the fit is TTS (or size up for a boyfriend-y look). I also appreciate the size range here (one of the few plus-size cashmere sweaters I could find).

2. Jenni Kayne Cropped Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan
cardigan: (2X) | (S)
Kat says: When I say I have never tried cashmere that is actually soft on my body, I MEAN NEVER! I have tried hundreds of cashmere sweaters over the years, and have hated all of them. But the minute I slipped into this 100% Mongolian cashmere sweater, my jaw literally dropped (and as luck would have it, I even caught my reaction on camera).

Shana says: While I’m not a fan of Jenni’s regular cocoon cardigan (I find it too long and overwhelming), a reader tipped me off about this newer cropped version and…wow: it’s great. This cardigan is bananas soft, has a really cool cut (hits slightly higher in the front than the back), and basically perfects the whole nonchalant-slouch thing. I also love that I can wear a lacy bra underneath and it just – barely – peeks out. This is a sexy sweater (especially for a cardigan).

3. Jenni Kayne Oversized Cashmere Crewneck
sweater (S)
Shana says: Ok, Jenni Kayne’s Oversized Cashmere Crew, the ‘Amelia,’ is some of the most delicious cashmere I’ve worn. This is truly a luxurious, beautiful piece, and the cashmere is so soft that the sweater has an almost plush feel. It’s available in XXS – 3XL (I’m wearing my usual size small), and it comes in two gorgeous neutral colors: this ivory color and something called, ‘warm sand’. That said, this sweater is also a rather…large. It is…a lot of sweater. But like all Jenni Kayne cashmere, this one has amazing drape, which means that this beauty half-tucks like a champ.

4. Jenni Kayne Cashmere Half-Zip Sweater
sweater (S)
Shana says: Ok, we have another ridiculously soft cashmere sweater, courtesy of Jenni Kayne. The fit on this Cashmere Half-Zip runs a little big (but I do like it a smidge oversized). Again, this sweater is available in sizes XXS – 3XL, in a range of beautiful colors (black is still my fav, tho). But what’s really special about this sweater is the design of the zip-front. The zipper adds a bit of sex appeal, but the collar doesn’t flap open when the sweater is unzipped. The result is a preppy, almost popped-collar look that feels really elevated and cool.

5. Jenni Kayne Cashmere Jackie Sweater
sweater (S)
Shana says: Jenni Kayne’s newest cashmere sweater, The Jackie, is a stunner. Made from a thick, cozy cashmere, it has the most epic collar I’ve seen. This collar is actually functional, which means you could button it all the way up and wear this sweater as a turtleneck. Or unbutton it and get a little more shoulder showing.

6. Jenni Kayne Cruise Cocoon Crewneck Sweater
sweater (L)
Amy says: The Cruise Cocoon is a magical combination of cotton and linen. There’s enough linen for this to be properly deemed a summer sweater, but plenty of cozy cotton that I’ve found myself reaching for it in every other season, too. The relaxed, drapey nature of the sweater is everything I look for. It’s long and loose, another reason why it works so well in colder months. The sleeves have just enough texture to be pushed up to the forearm for convenient styling, and the wide ribbed detailing of the neckline, wrists and bottom hems pull together the oversized silhouette in a stunningly chic manner.

7. Jenni Kayne Cotton Fisherman Sweater
sweater (L)
Amy says: JK’s Cashmere Cocoon Cardigan is easily one of my most-worn items in my entire closet, and I haven’t even owned it a full year. With every wear, it’s as if the sweater does, in fact, become softer (and it now truly is one of the softest items in my closet…go figure). The cardigan seems to look good with just about everything I own, and if I’m ever feeling “blah” about myself or my outfit, throwing on the sweater seems to instantly elevate my perception. It’s like wearing a comfort blanket (that’s somehow chic).

8. Jenni Kayne Chloe Cotton Sweater
sweater (S)
Linzi says: If you’re looking for a luxe silky soft boxy-ish 100% cotton sweater, look no further. This sweater is so incredibly soft and luxe looking and feeling. It’s definitely a splurge (Jenni Kayne rarely isn’t), but I’ve worn it enough to justify it—it’s been in every suitcase this summer and is my go-to for chilly car-rides and flights. It’s a good one. My little guy cuddled up to me this past weekend on a trip and said, “Mom–why is your sweater so soft?” Gotta love that. Also…the trim, the weight, the drape, the stripe, the color combo…it’s all good too.

9. Jenni Kayne Rove Dress
dress (S)
Shana says: The dress fits TTS (I’m wearing a small), and while the length is probably intended to be a little more midi (I’m 5’3″), the classic shape of the dress really allows it to hit anywhere on your calf and still look amazing. If you’re in the market for one great dress, a hard-working-but-gorgeous dress to wear everywhere…I’d go with the Rove in Dark Moss. It’ll be the most useful, especially if you plan on traveling in it. That said…I currently have the ivory in my cart. It’s so stunningly beautiful and would be an absolute dream to wear.

10. Jenni Kayne Cove Dress – Cotton
dress (S)
Linzi says: Incredible drape, luxe fabric, and effortlessly elegant shape and design… I’ve tried other dresses similar to this style, and Jenni Kayne is the the annoyingly expensive winner for sure. Easy to wear for warm-weather vaca, special date-nights, or day-to-day casual. I love the adjustable straps that give you the flexibility to make it sexier with a lower cut v-neck or more modest with a higher neckline. Both the S and XS fit me well (just depends how you like the chest to fit). If you’re smaller chested, consider sizing down. Bra situation: I sometimes wear a regular strapless bra and sometimes go without a bra with this dress.

11. Jenni Kayne Cove Dress – Linen
dress (S)
Linzi says: I am SO in love with this dress. Annoyingly very expensive, but it was a no brainer that I would be keeping it. The kind of dress I will wear over and over and over again and much more luxe than similar ones I’ve worn in the past. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL fabric; the stripe itself is woven into the fabric with a really cool contrasting fiber; comfortable and airy relaxed fit; feels effortlessly elegant; easy to dress up or down; adjustable straps that give you the flexibility to make it sexier with lower cut v-neck or more modest with a higher neckline; pockets.

12. Jenni Kayne Peninsula Dress
dress (S)
Linzi says: Another Jenni Kayne stunning dress (the dresses in general were my favorite of the try-on); the Peninsula has a dressier vibe than the Cove dress with a more fitted bodice. If you want a dress that shows a little more of your body shape, this is a better option than the Cove dress; super sweet and romantic silhouette with the fitted bodice, full skirt, and stitch detailing; pockets; zip back; luxe 100% Italian cotton.

13. Jenni Kayne Silk Sydney Top
top (S)
Shana says: Jenni Kayne’s 100% silk Sydney top is really unique. And it’s the details that make it special. The silk is soft, matte, and drapey, and the asymmetric closure gives it an almost jacket-like vibe. There’s a tiny hook-and-eye closure that keeps it from being too open, although I do recommend wearing it with a pretty bra that has a little plunge in the front. I love that this top can be worn tucked or untucked, and while it has some vaguely romantic elements (poet sleeves, for example), it remains a decidedly unfussy top.

14. Jenni Kayne Oiled Leather Strappy Sandals
Shana says: These sandals are great if someone just likes the edginess of gladiator sandals, but wants something more timeless. This sandal gets more and more comfortable each time I wear it, and is one of the few pairs I don’t mind the toe strap. They’re also flexible and just… oddly way more comfortable than they look.

15. Jenni Kayne Crochet Raffia Sun Hat
Linzi says: This is a “chicer-than-most” sun hat that truly easily folds into your bag for travel. Wide brim; adjustable fit; high quality; chic style….AND it was stuffed in my suitcase this weekend, got fully soaked in a downpour, folded it back up in my purse for the way home, and it still looks good; I can’t say any other hat I’ve worn can work that hard.
