Vintage Home Finds, Vol. 3

Carly has an incredible knack for sourcing gorgeous, well-priced items for the home. After ten editions of Amazon Home Finds, we’ve decided to shift to share some vintage and small business finds. I continue to be blown away by her discoveries. If you missed it, you can read volumes one and two right this way!
Vintage Home Finds Vol. 3
It’s always so fun for me to see what Carly finds. She has an incredible eye and is often way ahead of the curve. Case in point: for Christmas, knowing my love of fresh flowers (I try to go to my favorite flower shop every week and pick up a bundle), she bought me an abalone and silver pitcher (to use as a vase) nearly identical to this one. A few weeks ago, I spotted the same exact pitcher at one of my favorite boutiques. At 4x the price! I’m coveting this Murano glass mirror (out of my budget but incredible) and think I probably need these vintage cocktail forks.
From Carly:
I’m in the midst of redecorating my guest bedroom/office and have picked up a new design client, so my tabs are flooded with new picks from all of the best secondhand sites. I think that the best balance for a good home is 80% vintage or antique, and 20% new. This ratio presents a ton of opportunity for you to source pieces, big or small, for your home that add so much character and life to every room. Go big and bold with something like this abstract collage or this artichoke tulipiere, or lean towards more neutrally grounding pieces like this ceramic planter or this bamboo pedestal table. I’m personally eyeing this funky little catchall!
