Vintage Home Finds, Vol. 2

Carly has an incredible knack for sourcing gorgeous, well-priced items for the home. After ten editions of Amazon home finds, we’ve decided to shift to share some vintage and small business finds. I continue to be blown away by her discoveries. If you missed it, you can read the first one here!
Vintage Home Finds Vol. 2
I really look forward to these posts and seeing what Carly will unearth, except it’s tricky because I want to buy everything! Since we are featuring one-of-a-kind and secondhand items, it would be rude of me to do that, as then you wouldn’t be able to shop! Of this month’s finds, I am especially loving this space age wall clock and this fish platter (an absolute steal at $25). But also this ceramic fringe vase (how cool!). An Instagram follower recently turned me onto Housebound Interiors in Toronto. I talked more about them on Substack, but I love their curation. I purchased this urn, but there are still more malachite pieces available. We are both also loving Super Saturday’s e-commerce site. It’s an actual treasure trove, run by our friend Sally Simms.
From Carly:
With each round of curation, I feel like I uncover new details of what I’m most drawn to. I’m always on the hunt for new pieces to style around my home, and a well-done design is a marathon, not a sprint. Vases and candle holders are always at the top of my list, as you can never have too many florals and candles around the home. These inlaid puzzle vessels immediately caught my attention, as did this handmade terracotta candle holder. I always find it easier to search for small homewares, but this velvet ottoman really spoke to me (crazy. . . I know!).
