The Stripe Blogger Grace Atwood shares collage of Vintage Home Finds

Carly has an incredible knack for sourcing gorgeous, well-priced items for the home. After ten editions of Amazon home finds, we’ve decided to shift to share some vintage and small business finds. Once again, I’m blown away by what she found.

Vintage Home Finds Vol. 1

We love a pivot! I have always found vintage shopping a little bit overwhelming, but I’ve gotten better throughout the years thanks to sites like 1st Dibs and Chairish . . . and, of course, our good friends eBay and Etsy. Here in Charleston, we have an incredible store called Super Saturday (a must if you are visiting!), which also has a pretty fabulous e-commerce site. I am seriously tempted to buy these wrought iron face chairs for my front porch, and I also love this abalone box, which is so similar to the one I bought at Super Saturday over the weekend!

From Carly:

Sourcing vintage is truly where I feel I shine the brightest. It hasn’t always come easy to me (and I can’t say that it comes easily now). However, once you start recognizing what you’re looking for, the floodgates open, and the finds are endless! I’m constantly inspired by other creators who have been in the game for a while. They have introduced me to many new styles and designers through their insights.

One of my sourcing idols has recently become particularly interested in tramp art décor, so I’ve been keeping a close eye on this frame. I’ve gotten a bit carried away with ordering lighting (seriously, I’m running out of space), but this popsicle stick lamp is at the top of my wishlist. Once you start clicking through sites like Chairish and 1st Dibs, you’ll never want to stop!
