UK Vogue January 2024 Sustainability Trailblazers
Subsequent to Edward Enninful’s debut issue as editor of British Vogue back in 2017, bold and impactful statements have been made via the magazine’s front covers. Enninful has brilliantly championed and tackled everything from age representation to size inclusivity. As Enninful rounds out his editorship (his last arriving with the March 2024 issue), the leader of the pack is shining a spotlight upon sustainability trailblazers for January 2024. To mark the occasion, Enninful welcomes actress Emma Watson, designers Tolu Coker, Priya Ahluwalia and Torishéju Dumi, in addition to model Amber Valletta across a trio of celebratory Charlotte Wales-shot covers.
British Vogue‘s latest took members of our forums by complete surprise. “Lovely cover for Emma, and what a treat to see Amber!” heralded LastNight.
“I love both Emma’s and Amber’s covers. So classic and very British,” admired ivano.
“Amber’s cover! I’m in love with the colors and she looks gorgeous,” chimed in forum member Kishan.
Vogue28 shared: “My most favorite out of the three covers is Emma Watson’s. The portrait itself is undeniably beautiful, love the coloring, the warmth, the lighting, the styling… all oh so lovely. The other two, however, feel like a complete non-event and a massive flop. Not loving the past few covers/issues of British Vogue…”
“Lovely covers with Amber and Emma, but come on now. There will be plenty of time for covers of this caliber once Edward is gone. All those months wasted on terrible covers by subpar photographers… what a pity. If March isn’t entirely shot by Steven Meisel, I don’t even want to see it,” voiced aracic.
“Boring covers. NEXT!” an underwhelmed Bertrando3 exclaimed.
