Nerve cells are known as Neurons and they are present all over the body, especially in the brain and spinal cord. There are two types of nerves- Sensory (carry signals to the brain and are helpful in touch, taste and smell) and Motor nerves (Signals to muscles and glands which are useful in moving and functions).
