Puerto Rican femme-punk wrecking crew Tapaboka are back with their second single, ‘La Ley’—which translates to ‘The Law’, though this track is all about tearing it down. Written by their bassist (during a religious faith class, because of course), it’s a full-throttle rejection of control, oppression, and anyone who dares to tell them what to do.

From the moment the taunting vocals kick in over a prowling bassline, ‘La Ley’ drags you into its sweaty, chaotic world—where breaking the rules feels not just good, but necessary. The track builds and builds, until it finally lets loose in a riotous explosion of distortion, fury, and pure catharsis.
