The girls of Blackpink are no strangers to the cover of Vogue Korea. Ever since the band formed in 2016, the magazine has endorsed Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa via their front covers – both on their lonesome (more than once) and as a group. Shin Kwang-ho, who has served as editor-in-chief since 2015, welcomes Rosé back onto the cover of Vogue Korea for August 2025. In her first solo appearance as cover star, the New Zealand-South Korean singer-songwriter poses for the photographer Kim Hee June. Rosé is celebrated across four collectable covers, complete with styling from Aeri Yun, In each of the cover images, the global K-pop sensation dons looks looks from Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent (having been named the French fashion house’s first-ever global ambassador in 2020).

“Kwang-ho approved these? LMAO,” expressed crmsn upon checking out the covers.

“Gosh, I hate with a passion Vogue Korea’s idol covers. They always give them 246 covers and none work,” exclaimed a less than impressed Bertrando3.

“They should learn from Chinese magazines how to create celebrity covers,” Hafyiez wafa replied.

“The third is the worst,” voiced Kimy Jo.

Jeremydante commented: “I like this cover series. I love, love, love the opaque masthead!”

“I am far from a Blackpink or Rosé fan, but I do like these covers. I’ve seen worse, at the very least. You will never hear me complain at the sight of a Saint Laurent overload and the minimal art direction works wonders across the four covers. They’re uniform and cohesive – I like that,” approved vogue28.
