If you were thinking of growing your hair out for spring and summer, Rihanna is here to convince you otherwise. The Fenty Beauty founder has been feeling longer lengths lately, but she recently stepped out in a curled-under lob that makes a very compelling case for going (or staying) short.
Rih was snapped en route to her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles, with her hair in a shiny black lob that hit right at her collarbone, just brushing her layered necklaces. Her hair was styled straight, with the ends curled under for a ‘90s vibe—almost like a 2025 twist on the infamous “The Rachel” cut of yore. Looks like the celeb-fave flipped-out bob has some competition this season! Plus, the blunt lob was spotlighted by pros as one of the biggest haircut trends of 2025—and now it’ll be even more popular, thanks to Rihanna’s co-sign.

Everything about this look just feels so right: the soft, curved lob paired with thick, chunky black sunglasses with amber lenses. The glossy, wine-colored lips, which just so happen to be the same shade as her tank top and pointed-toe heels. Her go-to milky manicure peeking out from one jacket sleeve. Sometimes the simplest looks can be the most impactful.
As any celebrity beauty aficionado will tell you, Rihanna looks good in pretty much every hairstyle under the sun—and she’s tried most of them too. A spiky updo with choppy baby bangs? Been there. Streaky highlights? Done that. Super long and super blonde? That was her vibe last spring.
