Discover a lighter, more refreshing way to recover from intense training or hot outdoor exercise session with this  Recovery Granita Drink recipe. 

Transforms your usual Biogen Complete 9 Aminos drink into a cool, icy treat that feels like a slushie, without added sugar or unnecessary calories.

Ingredients

Biogen Complete 9 Aminos has been formulated with BCAAs at a 2:1:1 ratio and 6 EAAs, at levels which may assist with muscle protein synthesis, tissue repair and recovery post exercise. With the addition of Coconut Water Powder, Biogen Complete 9 Aminos is the ideal product for anyone looking to optimise their training with a simple, great tasting, low sugar drink that also replenishes electrolytes.

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl or jug, mix the Biogen Complete 9 Aminos with water until fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow square tin, spreading it to roughly 1cm thickness if possible.
  3. Place in the freezer.
  4. After about 45–60 minutes, use a fork to scrape and crush the forming ice crystals.
  5. Return to the freezer and repeat the scraping process once or twice more until you achieve a light, fluffy granita texture.
  6. Spoon into glasses and serve immediately.
