[#RECIPE] Creatine Jellies | Fitness Magazine
This Creatine Jellies recipe is a fun, fuss-free way to enjoy the benefits of Biogen Creatine Monohydrate with the added bonus of fruity flavour and a jelly-like texture that feels like a treat.
Made with just a handful of ingredients, they’re ideal as a pre- or post-workout bite.
Ingredients
- 2 cups 100% fruit juice of your choice
- 1 heaped tbsp Biogen Creatine Monohydrate
- 1½ tsp agar agar or gelatine (depending on preference)
- Sweetener or syrup, to taste
Biogen Creatine Monohydrate Powder boosts strength, power, and lean body mass. Stored primarily in skeletal muscle tissue, creatine plays a critical role in replenishing Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the key energy source for muscles during high-intensity exercise. This enhances your muscle’s capacity to produce energy, improving performance in workouts and accelerating recovery post-exercise.
Method
- Add the fruit juice, Biogen Creatine Monohydrate, agar agar or gelatine, and sweetener to a saucepan. Stir well to combine.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally until everything is fully dissolved and slightly thickened.
- Pour the mixture into silicone moulds (or a shallow tray if you’re slicing later) and let it cool slightly before placing it in the fridge.
- Let the jellies set in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Pop them out and store in an airtight container for a grab-and-go creatine boost anytime!
