[RECIPE] Caramel Cream Blueberry Jars
Give your breakfast routine a delicious upgrade with this Caramel Cream Blueberry Jars recipe.
They are the perfect combination of creamy oats, tangy blueberry compote, and a chocolatey crumble topping, all packed with protein and fibre.
Ingredients for oat layer
- 1 cup quick oats
- ½ cup buckwheat groats or oat groats
- 1 scoop Biogen Iso-Whey Premium Protein, Caramel Cream flavour
1 espresso shot - Milk of choice, to mix
- Pinch of salt
Ingredients for blueberry compote
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1–2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Water, if necessary
Ingredients for crumble topping
- ½ cup oats
- ¼ cup almond flour or coconut flour
- 1–2 tbsp nut butter
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- Sweetener, if desired

How to make it
- Combine the quick oats, buckwheat groats, whey protein, espresso shot, milk, and salt. Stir well and let it sit overnight or for at least an hour until thick and creamy.
- Add the blueberries, honey, lemon juice, and a splash of water to a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until the mixture becomes thick and jammy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, nut butter, cacao powder, and sweetener (if using) until crumbly.
- Spoon the oat mixture into jars, top with the warm blueberry compote, and finish with a layer of crumble. Serve with plain yoghurt for extra creaminess if desired.
