Raffia & Rattan Update – The Stripe

32

One of my favorite ways to add interest to an outfit is through texture. And hands down, my favorite texture is raffia. I love it in the spring and summer months, but depending on the piece and outfit, raffia can work all year round. Take, for example, the Loewe tote. 100% seasonless, thanks to the black leather accents and classic shape. A straw bag always looks fresh, easy, and effortless.

In the warmer months, I go all in on raffia. Sandals, bags, and other accessories: I can’t get enough. You can go whimsical with a fish or a shell, or stick to a more traditional look. Or, the best of both worlds: go classic with just a tiny twist. How fun is this bag!? It’s a decent price, I love the gold detail, and I haven’t seen anyone carrying this brand.

I can’t stop thinking about the strap detail on these flats. I pre-ordered this Khaite bag a couple of weeks ago, and can’t wait for it to arrive. The black accents feel more modern (I have a lot of raffia and tan pieces), and I love the East-West silhouette. Lastly, I wanted to call out this under-$100 Etsy find. It’s the perfect clutch for day or night, and feels very timeless. You’ll have it forever.

It’s fun to look back on past years. You can check out my 2024 raffia favorites here, and my 2023 raffia favorites as well.
