Anh Co Tran was thrilled to be part of another successful Premiere Orlando show with Milbon. He was joined by his Curated Cutting co-educator, Daniel Kim. Premiere is the largest beauty convention in the United States, and a weekend filled with product knowledge and education.
Milbon set the stage with an action-packed two-day educational experience at their booth, featuring a variety of classes that catered to diverse interests, from contemporary men’s barber cuts to Sophistone color techniques. Anh and Daniel demonstrated six distinct hairstyles, including the long layer shag, the hime cut, and the modern pixie.
A true highlight of the event was Anh and Daniel’s Milbon class “Monochromatic Collection: Trends & Transformations.” This intimate session allowed them to work side-by-side, completing two haircuts simultaneously, which fostered a dynamic learning atmosphere. The audience was invited to delve deeper through an interactive Q&A, where they learned about the Monochromatic Collection, the essential tools like ATO shears, and ongoing educational opportunities at Curated Cutting. Anh demonstrated a stunning mini bob transformation while Daniel created an edgy mid-length shag.
Premiere Orlando also served as a platform for emerging talent within the beauty industry. With numerous educational opportunities and meet-and-greet sessions taking place throughout the day, participants had ample chances to network with fellow professionals. Salon professionals discovered incredible deals and the chance to test out new products, particularly at Milbon’s interactive booth featuring the new Monochromatic Collection.
Anh shared his appreciation for the enduring spirit of hair shows and the community it fosters. He felt inspired to see a diverse mix of both newer and more established stylists coming together to seek inspiration. A standout moment for him was collaborating with the Milbon team on color for the models, he was grateful for a seamless and enjoyable process.
