Nails Inc x Jo Loves Paint The Town Red Gift Set Review
[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Despite my laptop offering to write a ‘witty story about sailing’ for me, I’m sticking with tradition and doing a beauty review instead. I have no idea what co-pilot is but it can take itself elsewhere (extremely not what I mean but for the sake of dignity etc…). I can’t be bothered to stretch my brain to wonder why it thought that might be useful for me. Anyway, I am posting about the Nails Inc x Jo Loves collaboration which nobody saw coming. It’s earlier in the week than I’d usually do because I like to use the freshness of Monday to write more in depth but I think a) it’s a magnificent collaboration, b) it will sell out quickly and c) it’s well priced.

The Paint The Town Red box (beautiful box – and I’m hard to impress because I’ve seen a lot of boxes) with red ribbons contains a Nails Inc special edition red in the 1 Step Gel formula called Paint The Town Red. This is the formula that dries quickly so that in theory you are good to go after a few minutes but I am so used to the high gloss of a quick dry top-coat that I just can’t help myself. It’s a stunning red called Red Dot Rouge.

The second part to the set is a Jo Loves Fragrance Paintbrush which is a click-to-release gel formula fragrance that you ‘paint’ onto your skin. I am really at one with almost all of Jo Malone’s fragrances because she favours a citrus, as do I. It’s her signature fragrance, Jo by Jo Loves with grapefruit, orange and lime at the top with a bottom of smooth woods. I hadn’t smelled it before because I will forever be a Pomelo fan and no samples came my way so I didn’t even think to spritz it in store but I have to say, it’s a joy of a perfume. Nails Inc sent the Paint The Town Red box with its sketch of a London Christmas scene on the front and of the Christmas offerings I have seen so far, it’s by a long way the most beautiful and covetable.

The price is £45 HERE which comes nicely under the £50 gift line I have mentally marked and yet it feels more special than the price suggests.
