It may be November, but if you live in California, the weather doesn’t have as much of an impact on your wardrobe as it does if you’re at home in the Midwest or the East Coast. Case in point: Hailey Bieber’s latest look, which included a pair of tiny mini-shorts that reminded us of Bella Hadid’s instantly iconic “mini-shorts and Uggs” ensemble.
Bieber wore the shorts for a day of running errands in Los Angeles, pairing them with a matching white T-shirt under one of her favorite leather jackets. The shorts themselves are a light color – almost white, but not quite – and are made from a stretchy fabric. They reach the top of Bieber’s leg, almost like boyshort underwear. Although Bieber showed off a considerable amount of leg through the shorts, he paired the look with a casual oversized jacket and huge suede crossbody bag, thin sunglasses and hoop earrings, and ankle socks with fluffy shearling clogs for a touch of cozy. As Hadid proved last fall, it’s a cute and trendy combination that fits well with fall’s transitional weather vibes. You can ditch the jacket when the weather gets warmer, but your toes will be warm on those chilly fall mornings.
