The press tour for the damned Friday-Die continuation of Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis from 2003-WAR A parade of Easter Eierlast-Looks (such as Lohan’s lavender dress and red guitar bar), which prepares us for the border of the cinemas. I just couldn’t have prepared for the luxury fashion that I would see on the screen.
It has been 22 years since Anna (Lohan) and Tess Coleman (Curtis) have changed body – and give us a classic makeover assembly and many envied looks – and now mother and daughter are returning to cinemas on August 8th to achieve another fashion spectacle.
“I have the feeling that there are talks with [director] Nisha [Ganatra] And with Jamie and Lohan – just to see where they believed, their characters would be and what they would look like, ”says the more damn freestyle costume designer Natalie O’Brien, says Refinery29. But we also don’t want to hit them with what they saw.”
This time Anna-The Plant to marry single father Eric (Manny Jacinto), with her 15-year-old daughter Harper (Julia Butters), the body, whose Tomboy surfer aesthetics focus on her characteristic hat and overalls. In the meantime, Tess exchanges with her future granddaughter Lily (Sophia Hammons), an emerging, up -and -coming designer who adheres to thick headbands, arches (Peep the coachtopia Bows BAG!) And a lot of Vivienne Westwood. (It looks like a typical Disney Channel -fashionista.) This leads to four characters that immerse themselves in the shoes of the other (many of them are Jimmy Choo!) And produce even more iconic than the original film.
After leaving her band Pink Slip to educate Harper, Anna now works as a musician manager at Capitol Records. “She is a cool mother. She has not expired and loses her rocker sense,” says O’Brien, adding that she was effortlessly inspired by the actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourgs. “[Anna] I still stayed in the music industry, so I think that this is important to present it with her clothes. I liked the idea of an old leather belt that she had had for some time, and some boots occupied with stars that are not kitsch and cool for their everyday look. “
Anna’s success in the industry also explains the luxury pieces that she accumulated in her closet. From Olivia von Halle Seidenpyjamas and (not one, but two) self-portrait dresses to the cool girl look (i.e. a Staud-Delphin dress, the Frankie shops suit and the Dôen Floral dress) is her style brighter, savings cliffer and fantastic as your Grung teen-aesthetic.
“I also feel like the only way I can bring Lohan into a front guard, must be like a Balenciaga [version] – Something sick – and it worked, ”says O’Brien, referring to the palm and sunset prints. Anna wears with Harper after the exchange of body. The surf clothing continues with Anna (as Harper) and later steps out in a charming flowers -Cynthia Rowley -NOPRENAG.
