Delhicious High Tea Moisture Balm Review

[unpaid/sample] I’ve had several samples from this brand to try and the ones that I’ve settled on showing you are the Delhicious High Tea Moisture Balm and the Rich Roots Hair Oil.

Getting to know this brand while it’s still relatively small is a great idea – with under 20 SKUs it feels entirely manageable and there aren’t many brands that I can say that about. I’ve noticed that when one brand produces a product, twenty other brands do the same and after a while there are so many products in a range that it all starts to blur into one. Delhicious is still at the stage where each product feels interesting and unique. If I could change one thing about this brand, it would be the packaging which looks a little like every other pink thing on the beauty shelves. Actually, I think it’s a serious brand dressed as a fluffy one – there are some extremely good products, produced thoughtfully and carefully.

Delhicious is founded by husband and wife team, Zak and Zara whose roots lie in India. Heritage kitchen formulations became a brand formed from rituals of old. The product I’ve used the most is the Rich Roots Hair Oil Mist – it comes out as a mist, not, like some misting formulas, as a squirt, and gives my over processed, dry ends some life back until the next conditioning hair wash. I wouldn’t advise using it at the very roots of your hair because it may be a bit too oily for that, particularly if you have an oily scalp but dry hair, but for mid-lengths and ends the mix of argan, olive, rosemary and sunflower oils works a treat to stave off that parched hair look. My other top recommend is the Delhicious Migh-Tea Moisture Balm – a turn-up stick of shea, sweet almond, candelilla and black tea – that gives instant relief to dryness. My daughter has eczema on her hand and it’s certainly helped the dry, cracked skin there. You can use this on your face or body but bear in mind that it contains fragrance and if that’s an irritant for you, then we have to wait for a fragrance free option. The hair oil is £12.95 HERE and the Migh-Tea Moisture Balm is £13.95 HERE.
