Cynthia Bailey is opening up about her weight-loss journey. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star—whose modeling career has spanned decades and earned her the nickname “The Face”—began working with WeightWatchers in early 2025. Now, nearly a year later, she’s sharing what the experience has been like, including her time using Wegovy.

In an Instagram post, smiling and posing on a beach in the West Indies, Bailey tells fans she has big news, adding that she’s feeling really good about her body right now. The photos alone are enough to garner likes and praise, as she stuns in a plunging white one-piece swimsuit. But it’s the caption that brings her joy full circle: “After my own 30-lb weight loss on the Wegovy pen and WeightWatchers, I’ve realized that the journey isn’t just about the number, it’s about having support that evolves with you.”

While the WeightWatchers–GLP-1 alliance isn’t new, relatively few celebrities have spoken in depth about their personal experiences. The program combines prescription GLP-1 medications—overseen by licensed clinicians—with WeightWatchers’ nutrition, behavior-change tools and ongoing coaching. In the past, the company has partnered with high-profile figures, most notably Oprah Winfrey, but Bailey’s recent account is among the first to spotlight real-world results from a WeightWatchers plan used alongside GLP-1 medications.

According to WeightWatchers’ data, eligible patients using injectable semaglutide like Bailey lost an average of about 15 percent of their body weight (roughly 33.6 pounds) over 68 weeks when paired with diet and exercise. Her experience—and confidence—reflect that trajectory.
