Britt’s Pick: Bei Tesori’s Rosewood Heart Pendant

Valentine’s Day may be long past, but that doesn’t stop us from wanting every great piece of heart jewelry we can find. Italian brand Bei Tesori tells us that its heart pendant pictured here has quickly become one of its best sellers.

Hand-carved from rosewood sourced from a single tree, the heart can be customized with a 14k yellow gold initial, number, or symbol—with or without diamonds. This piece is a strong example of how jewelry is shifting toward styles that may be sentimental but are not too dainty, more statement-making.

“Clients want jewelry that makes an impact visually but still carries meaning—something that feels like an extension of who they are, not just an accessory,” says Bei Tesori’s creative director and founder Cailin Shannon.

“Hearts, first and foremost, are fun. They’re warm, and they tell a personal story based on what you choose to put on them, whether it’s a letter, a religious symbol, or a meaningful number.”

Beyond its scale, the pendant stands out for its materials—an appealing quality for shoppers seeking something a bit more unusual, earthy, and ultimately beautiful.

“The collection began with a focus on natural materials and symbolism and has evolved into a refined balance of organic elements and high-polish gold—we love this contrast between strength and softness,” Shannon says. “Many of our clients already own their core fine jewelry pieces, so we’re focused on offering variety at different price points. Our heart is collectible, personal, and easy to wear every day.”

While this popular pendant may well become iconic among those who recognize it, at its core it’s all about individuality. “We’re seeing a shift away from overly commercial, logo-driven jewelry and toward personal style,” Shannon says.

“For the past decade, there has been a strong emphasis on labels, trends, and being seen in the ‘right’ places. That wasn’t how we were raised. We grew up around women who dressed and collected jewelry for their own lives—not for visibility, but for personal expression. Some call it je ne sais quoi, some call it style.”
